UPCOMING EVENTS! Amazing Arizona Comicon: Jan 25th-27th Con-Nichiwa: March 22nd-24th ========================= RULES Cause every group needs to have even a little bit of order, right? We're not gonna shout at you and attack you if you slip up, but try to follow the rules. ========================= General Rules Stuff that's really just a given if you get what I'm saying and also a few rules on how the ranks work on the group page. To be a member you must both live in Arizona and cosplay or plan to cosplay Hetalia, hence the group name... Contributors and Co-Founders are not applied for, they are invited or promoted from a normal member. Contributors are anyone who takes a great deal of photographs during the meets and cons or just people that I know any normal member can go to for help on cosplay questions and the like. They maintain the galleries. Co-Founders are a special group of people that I know I can rely on when it comes down to the mud and grim of life. Lol. They have just about all the power that I do as founder and you can go to them for anything. Co-Founders will help keep everyone noted on up-coming events such as out-of-con gatherings and the like. Any suggestions pertaining to the layout and rules of the group should be sent as a note to the founder, please! ========================= Gatherings, Cons and Cosplay Rules This is probably the most important set of rules that we have on here, we will all get very serious if these rules, especially ones pertaining to cons, are broken. Bullets in red mean serious, serious business. Follow con rules. Many cons prohibit historically sensitive symbols such as swastikas. Follow the laws of your country. Even if historically sensitive symbols are not banned in your country, please be aware of the effect they have on people and the reasons why they can be banned. Respect the country you're cosplaying. Researching your costume is a great way to show respect for the character and the country they represent. To that end, if your costume includes a flag, please respect it. (More details on proper flag treatment can be found here: community.livejournal.com/heta… ) Don't be afraid to speak up If you see ignorant or disrespectful behavior, tell a con organizer about it or confront the one who's doing it. I know it can be hard to correct fellow fans and it's terrible to feel like you're tattling on them, but it's best for them, the fandom, and you. No unsolicited physical contact. What can be playful IC behavior for a character can be unpleasant harassment for others. This isn't as die-hard important as being mindful of con rules and laws, but it is very important as some people don't like to be pounced by people they don't know. If someone's bothering you, please tell them to stop. If you're attending an out-of-con gathering and there are requirements (like food!), please try to meet them! I know this can be hard for people, but it's best for everyone if we all contribute a little bit to get togethers. Being a member doesn't mean you have to attend every meet, we aren't that mean. PS: If you haven't already, please take the time to go over the full LJ cosplay and con guidelines here: community.livejournal.com/heta… ========================= Gallery and Favorites Rules Guys, these rules are in place to make sure that it's easier for everyone to find photos that they're looking for, so please pay attention to these! All photos in the gallery should pertain to Hetalia cosplay in Arizona (that's sort of a given, guys.) The gallery is organized in a way that does not make use of the featured folder, please don't submit art to the featured folder until the admins decide what we want to do with it. All photos should be put in the event that they were taken at (IE: Saboten 2009 or PCC 2010) if they were not taken at an event, submit the photos to our Photoshoot folder. Favorites can be of any medium but should pertain to Hetalia, unless decided otherwise. |
